Froggies
This is the baby service offered at our school while you are at work. Here we feed, change diapers and oversee your little babies while you at work. We ensure sleep times are supervised in our camp cots and that all our babies are monitored. We only take a very limited amount of babies to ensure we give our babies the best we can. Babies have learnt to walk and talk with us while achieving many other milestones that we have seen in our experience. Hilltop is definitely a home away from home. Make sure to apply for this service in advance as we only accept limited babies.
Bugs
is our 3 year and early 4 year old category. These are children the are fed from the froggies class but are ready to start exploring further. Tactile lessons encourage learning through touch and feel which forms the foundation to other learning programs in the school. As a child develops they will be taken into more structured programs to further develop the brain as well as gross motor skills. Here we also potty train our babies and assist with diapers until they are fully potty trained. We work in conjunction with parents to achieve their potty goals. Our child height and child friendly restroom and sinks makes potty training so much fun.
Dinosaur
is our late 4 to 5 year olds  where we start to get abit  more serious. This is the pre readiness class. Kids should know how to use the child friendly toilets and sanitation as taught in the baby class. They are supervised though by their fully trained and experienced educators. This stage is very important thus we have a separate building in the school for them so they are not disturbed during class time. They have a grade RR curriculum that they will need to follow. They have outcomes that need to be achieved so that they can get promoted to grade R.
Grade R (Mickey Mouse club house)
 …’come inside theres fun inside’… as the name suggest! Mickey mouse class comprises of the 6 year olds. They are the ‘big guys’ of the school and they are always busy with developmental  activities. Our grade R students are prepared for grade 1 and their curriculum includes early stages of reading. We feed our grade R students to Scottburgh Primary school so having your child with us makes entry into ‘Big School’ easier and less cumbersome. Our educators are fully qualified and fully experienced to deal with this age category and provide a lush and rich environment for them. Homework forms a vital part of this stage in our school. Toilet usage is independent to the child yet supervised if need be. Their first graduation will take place at the end of the year where each child enrobed in their graduation coats get officially graduated.
After Care
Events
Hilltop has many events through the year viz: Mothers day, fathers day, grandparents day, different shoe day, teddy bear day …. To name a few. We also a member of Tour de preschool which is hosted once every year. We host our annual graduation and concert ceremony as well. We also prepare fully for events like Halloween and Christmas parties as well as movie nights. We include more events and constantly add in activities to keep the vibe and make Hilltop a fun place to be.
